Tried to schedule an oil change and tire rotation through Cadillac.com, website led to Capital service where you inputted year/make/mileage etc. To choose appointment time it says you have to call if within 2-3 days so I scheduled appointment. My wife took car in and they charged TWICE the charge listed on the site. When I called 2 hours after picking up the car they said they would not honor any coupon- even though site still offers "special" (and still shows to "call" for appt.)
We also have a Buick and did the same thing with Power just last week, they had no problem with honoring coupon. Buyer beware- they will stick you.

This place gives Chevy a bad name. Nice new facility, but thats about it. HIGH PRESSURE & EVERYTHING you hate about going looking for a car. Look no further, you can find it here.

Upon entering, asked for specific salesman, who wasn't available for our scheduled appointment, and then the salesman, who wouldn't even let me get out of my car upon pulling in, FOLLOWED ME TO THE RESTROOM and continued a sales pitch IN THE RESTROOM!!! I should've left then. The sales guy wouldn't let me wait for the salesman I'd made an appointment with and insisted that we proceed. Guess at least the salesman washed their hands!

They never really even listened to what I was saying. It was going to be the way they wanted things from the get go. Their price was so "good" that they wouldn't really entertain anything that I was offering. "there are other people on their way to come look at this" "first com first served" "I'm going to be fired if I don't sell this" All of the antics and BS kept building to a pinnacle that pushed me out the door.

This place is shady and I will NEVER set foot on any of the Capitol lots again. You'd think you were on an island and they were the only car lot on it! Such a disgrace to the Chevrolet name.

Go elsewhere since there are so many choices within 50-75 miles. Can't imagine things could be worse!

The service Shop at Capitol Au...

The service Shop at Capitol Auto Group is the most unethical place to do business. I give it no stars. Before you agree to have any repairs completed, ask for a parts list and get a second quote. You can get the exact same parts at teh local auto parts store for over half the price. Yelp I said have the price. I had work done there recently and just through the transaction I was able to find out the true caost. When I spoke to the supervisor about it, he denied it. I was able to prove to him the mark up, all he wanted to know after that was how he could make me happy. No apologies for the unethical behavior of lying or the significant markup on th epart. BTW, the markup was $150.

dont go there. they employ dis...

dont go there. they employ dishonest sales people, they just want to make the sale, dont really care about your situation, not a good place to buy a car or trade in a car. we went there to look at a new car and found one we like but had to be for the right price. we traded in our 5 year old 4x4 with low mileage and was told they were gong to pay off our loan. ok sweet lets look at payments got them way too high but jonathon said with the mpg difference your going to be saving money and we were by that time we were there for 4 hours and our 15 month old daughter was throwing a fit...bedtime so we asked the salesman if he could take the two of them home and ill stay and finish the paper work they said ok and then came back and said its going to be about 5 min longer....5 min goes by and she asks how much longer again said 5 min my wife say you said that 5 min ago. convinced her that it wont be much longer ended up being 30 min so i had an angry baby and an angry wife so i signed the paper work and got out of there come to find out the cash we put down went to pay off part of our loan and the 4x4 and they rolled over the rest into the new loan. so i went down there and told them i wanted what they told me they were going to do and of course did not even get close to it.

WOULD NOT EVER GO THERE AGAIN THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS IS ITS ALL LEGAL WHAT THERE DOING. WE CAN ONLY LET YOU KNOW AND HOPE YOU TELL EVERY ONE YOU KNOW NOT TO BUY A CAR FROM THERE

Back in December 2011 I went t...

Back in December 2011 I went to Capital Chevrolet in order to sell them a truck. BY the end of the appointment, and after informing them that I was going through a divorce we established that I could not leave the dealership without a vehicle.

I explained the situation to them regarding the divorce and that I needed a 4-door car for myself and my two young daughters (ages 2 and 4). I also told them what my budget was. I asked that they place me in a vehicle that was reliable for myself and my children.

I guess I should not have been so honest witht hem about my marital problems. After learning the situation, they saw a bulls eye on me. The salesman that I worked with gave me one choice in vehicle. A 1990 Honda Accord. He told me this is the only car that he had for me. My price range was at about $3000.

Once bringing me the vehicle, the sales man rushed me through the sale and practically pushed me out the door. Since leaving with the vehicle I have had nothing but trouble with this vehicle. The problems are listed below:

1. All for windows did not roll up completly. The 2 back ones would not roll up at all.

2. The transmission is slipping.

3. I recently had to replace an engine gasket because oil was coming up through the spark plugs.

4. There is an oil leak.

5. There is a transmission leak.

6. There is a cracked head.

When filling out the paper work with the "salesman" he again rushed me through this. There was one sheet in these documents that he did not fully disclose. It was a document stating that I had 3 days to inspect and return the vehicle. The salesman tri folded this sheet and when walking me through the papers, showed me the top part of the trifold which did not show that I had 3 days to return. Then he flipped the bottom part of the tri fold where it required my signature. Follishly i signed.

If I had kjnown that I had 3 days to inspect and return, this vehicle would have been brought back immediately.

When I asked the salesman for blue book pricing, he said that he couldnt find the pricing because the vehicle was to old. I recently found what he meant. Blue book would only list what this vehicle is valued at in great condition. Not the poor condition that this company sold this vehicle to me in. The blue book value for this vehicle in excelltnt condition was $2600. They charged me $2750 and would not budge or try to work with me on the pricing for this poor excuse for a car.

So not only did this company sell me a vehicle that was is very poor shape and still continues to need nothing but extra work, but they also forced it on me for a price that was much more than the car was valued at. So besides getting ripped off and taken advantage of, but they also knowingly sold me a bad car.

This dealership showed absolutely no honesty or integrity. I have bought close to 15 vehicles in my life and I have to say that I have never had such a bad experience buying a car.

Even when reporting them to the BBB, they are not trying to work with me.

These guys are scammer.

CAPITOL DOES NOT HONOR ITS WARRANTY

CAPITOL WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR FREE TIRES FOR LIFE WARRANTY. MY TIRES WENT FLAT 3 TIMES WITHIN A WEEK BECAUSE THE TREAD WAS SO LOW, BUT THEY STILL REFUSED TO CHANGE MY TIRES AND GIVE ME NEW TIRES. IT WAS A HAZARD SO I HAD TO GO TO A PRIVATE TIRE DEALERSHIP TO GET BRAND NEW TIRES BECAUSE CAPITOL CHEVROLET IN SALEM, OREGON REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR FREE TIRES FOR LIFE WARRANTY. ALSO, IT'S NOT REALLY "FREE TIRES FOR LIFE." IT'S A SWITCH AND BAIT. YOU HAVE TO GET EVERYTHING SERVICED AT CAPITOL AND DOUBLE THE PRICE ANY PRIVATE TIRE DEALERSHIP WOULD CHARGE. A COMPLETE SCAM.
