The News of Cumberland County provides news and information in Cumberland County in New Jersey, with an emphasis on the eastern side of the county and a focus on Bridgeton, N.J., the county seat. The newspaper also publishes a zoned edition for the city of Millville, N.J. The News devotes its pages to coverage of local government, education, business, community events and high school athletics. Originally known as the Bridgeton Evening News, the paper was founded in 1879.
