      Salemhaven is a nonprofit, 110-plus-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. It is certified by Medicaid and Medicare, and is located in Salem, N.H. The center offers general medical and 24-hour nursing care, as well as a number of specialized programs and services to its residents. Salemhaven features a dining room, beauty salon, chapel, family meeting rooms, and private and semiprivate suites. Its special health services include occupational, speech and physical therapies. The center s staff consists of certified doctors, licensed nurses, aides, social workers, therapists, pastoral counselors and dietitians. Its individualized care plans include restorative nursing, wound care, pain management, nutritional support, discharge planning and cognitive behavioral management services. Salemhaven also conducts creative workshops, cultural events and field trips for residents.
