The Salem Athletic Club offers the residents of Salem, N.H., and surrounding communities with opportunities to engage in healthy physical activities. The facility is a member of the International and New England Health, Racquet and Sportsclub associations. Salem Athletic offers an indoor lap swimming pool, swimming lesions, more than 100 professionally instructed group exercise classes, nationally certified personal trainers, Cybex Classic and Cybex VR2 equipment, Lifefitness cycles, 10,000 pounds of free weights, Cardio Theater, Precor treadmills, Stairmasters, four racquetball courts and racquetball leagues, volleyball, tanning and a pro shop. The Salem Athletic Club also offers a nursery with an outdoor playground and daily children s activities.
