Health and Education Services is a part of the Northeast Health System, an integrated system of health care. The organization provides mental health and substance abuse treatment, as well as services for victims of crime and loss, the homeless and those suffering from HIV and AIDS. It also offers primary prevention, outpatient treatment, emergency care and residential placement services. Health and Education Services has facilities located in various cities in Massachusetts, including Salem, Amesbury, Haverhill, Beverly, Peabody, Rowley and Topsfield. Its community prevention services include programs, such as the Victims of Crime and Loss, Gay and Bi Men s Health and the Gloucester Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol program.
