Specialties 24 HR Service For Exsisting Customers Only Sales, Service and Installation. History Established in 1960. Island Air has served the Golden Isles since 1962. The company was originally started by Buddy Culver (Culver Heating and Air) and has always been family owned and operated. We are a certified dealer for both Trane and Lennox. Our present owner, Allan Smith, has over 40 years in the HVAC and refrigeration business. He purchased into the company in 1995 and became full owner in 2001.

We recently had guest at our condo this summer when the air went out. We had used this company in the past. We were shocked at the bill that we received -- over $200 for a service call and 1 hour of labor. We felt taken advantage of because it was hot and the summer. When we inquired, we were told that St. Simons is not Atlanta. The gal was rude and hung up the phone. Because we are honest people, we will pay this bill and learned a valuable lesson to check around on fees. In fact, they charged us about twice what we pay in Atlanta ... so she was right about that.
