Transitional housing program for homeless (or at risk of being homeless) families with minor children. Each family accepted is allowed to stay in an 'apartment' all to themselves. The apartment is beautifully done and seems to have everything you could possibly need. The program is not easy, and you will not always understand why you are told what to do. They offer tutoring for school aged children, and lifeskills classes for participants (financial, cooking, etc). Those who are able to stick to the program and graduate are not likely to ever find themselves homeless again.
