Founded in 1958, Lynch Elementary School is located in St. Petersburg, Fla. The school serves more than 550 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers Title 1 and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. Its general academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math and science. Lynch Elementary School provides special education programs to gifted and talented students. The school also offers speech, language, hearing, vision, occupational and physical therapies to students with learning disabilities. Its staff includes a psychologist, behavior specialist, social worker and guidance counselor. In addition, it organizes various educational and cultural events, such as festivals, concerts, musical shows and fundraising activities. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes art, music and physical education. Lynch Elementary School is a part of Pinellas County Schools.
