Does not do his job just wants you in and out quickly as possible. Told him meds weren't working on a very severe schizophrenic patient all he did was up the mg. If u do even the slightest research on schizophrenia you would see there's a very wide variety of different types of medication for it and if one isn't working the doctor and patient are supposed to basically do trial and error till the right one or even combination is found without hesitation. This is a very serious condition that if he cared about his clients at all he would not take any chances with. Needless to say that patient has been Baker acted twice this month, is in a facility right now and is in such a bad state of psychosis he can barely even tell you their name. Great job "Doc"....

I would recommend Dr. Jones to everyone. Yes, his office is crowded, and busy. Sometimes you must wait... he is worth waiting to see. He is good at letting you speak and giving you direct comments. His staff is friendly, and I have found them to be prompt when refilling my meds, and helpful when scheduling. Keep in mind, he is not a psychologist - he is a psychiatrist. He is not going to spend an hour chatting.. he gets to the source and prescribes something to help. For me - he has been a godsend.

I treated with Dr. Jones for five years. I stuck with him b/c he seemed to try everything he could. However, as I got more proactive in my own management of my illness, I felt I had to tiptoe around his egocentric personality to offer my own research on FDA approved drugs or alternative treatments. He was not cutting-edge. Dr. Jones was always double- to quadruplely-booked. I now know that you do not, by APA standards, have to pay your co-pay for waiting longer than a half-hour. Dr. Jones (by staff or days later) would rather not speak to your non-ER questions by phone, but have an office appointment had to be set to be seen by him ($$). The short telephone hours of the office & the turnover of his staff were ridiculous. Staff turnover in the 5 years I shows the Dr.'s own character. He takes on too patients. I felt I had to put on a "face" when I saw him as well as a #. He was quick to put you in your place and was very authoritative in his brief (less than 15 min) "sessions".
