Lyndell is a wonderful place to train. My family has been at Lyndell for over 3 years. The atmosphere is comfortable and feels like your hanging out with family. Ms. Jamie and Ms. Sharon do an awesome job motivating and mixing classes up so you don't get into a rut. They really care about the skills the students are learning and everyone works at their own pace. My son's teachers have asked where he trains becuase it has made such a difference in his self-confidence. I wish everyone who is in martial arts could have such a positive experience as we have had at Lyndell.

The Best Instructors

My son has been taking Tae Kwon Do classes at Lyndell for over 4 years. He will be testing for his black belt soon and his training has been exceptional. Sharon and Jamie have watched him grow up and have been such a positive influence in his life. He has grown into a young man with great self-confidence.

I highly recommend this school!

Wonderful Experience

Lyndell Institute is a wonderful place for a first introduction to the martial arts or to re-learn if you've been away for a while. The instructors love their craft and are dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment that builds on safe technique. Fellow students create a family atmosphere that make this a fun experience. Have been training for over six years and enjoy each class to learn more about Tae Kwon Do and myself.

Lyndell Institute is A++

Lyndell Institute is the school for all ages and very family oriented. We have watched our daughter grow from a quiet, somewhat insecure child to a confident, successful high school student. You always feel welcome at Lyndell and all the instructors are great.

Lyndell Rocks

Lyndell Institute is a caring and family orientated atmosphere.

The teachers are Great with the kids as well as the adults.

The teachers Ms Jamie and Mrs Sharon are both very fun to take a class with. They make every lesson interesting and fun.

For instance: Tae Kwon Do baseball, Relay races, obstacle courses, Free sparing, Mermaruda, Demo night, Self Defence classes etc... They even have parties like Kids Fun Night!

This is the #1 place to go if you are interested in Tae Kwon Do. I will never quit.

A wonderful experience!! Clas...

A wonderful experience!! Classes taught by a mother/daughter duo who teach with compassion. When I was looking for a studio for my then 9 year old son to attend, I was worried about the things I had seen on TV. This is not the way Sharon and Jamie teach. The students are taught mutual respect and that tae kwon do is to defend with, not an aggressive sport. Often times, during class, they will take time out to teach a moral lesson that really makes even me think!! I did alot of looking before I made the decision and I have never been sorry that we became members.

Everything a Martial Arts School should be and more

I started going to Lyndell just to do yoga and (I thought) kick boxing, but I watched a Tae Kwon do class and decided to try it out. After 2 classes I was hooked. It is the best thing I could have done for myself. Lyndell is like gaining another family. Everyone wants to see you succeed and reach your goals and if you stumble along the way they are there to pick you up and cheer you on. Sharon and Jamie are the absolute best!

Great Atmosphere to Grow In!

My 9 year old son has been training at Lyndell for over a year. We started with a trial membership for $29 which was great since he plays many sports and initially I had no idea if he would want to stick with Tae Kwon Do. I was attracted to Lyndell for several reasons. First, it is a female-owned business run by a mother and daughter who are both black belts. I knew nothing about the martial arts yet both women demonstrated patience and a true willingness to answer all my questions, which impressed me greatly. There is absolutely no arrogance coming from these ladies! Second, they firmly ingrain in the kids minds that TKD is never to be used unless you are forced to defend yourself. They make quite sure that the kids have the proper perspective, which is key. Lastly, Lyndell emphasizes the development of your spirit as well as your body, which includes maintaining an attitude of respect for all fellow students. Good things for kids to learn!

I love training at Lyndell. It's like a family that wants you to succeed. I have learned so much and I keep learning. Tae Kwon Do is great for your health and mind and Lyndell does a great job of balancing both of those ideas. They are always supportive of what you do and push you to do your best. Lyndell is a great place to start getting in shape and sticking with it because it is a life changing place! Thanks for everything!

Joining Lyndell was the best decision I have ever made, for both myself and my daughter. I have been training for over a year now and I have never felt better, both physically and mentally. The training is top notch and the family atmosphere is exceptional. The people are incredible and I have never had better friends. I would recommend Lyndell to everyone who is looking to change their life. My life will never be the same and for that I am grateful to Jamie, Sharon and the Lyndell family.

Excellent Training Center

Whether you are a die hard athlete or just want to do something to keep in shape, this is the place to come! The instructors are so patient and willing to help you get to your goals. Another fabulous part of Lyndell Institute is participating in Tae Kwon Do classes with people from a variety of ages. My daughter and I both do Tae Kwon Do and it is so much fun to participate in a healthy, exciting activity together.

Lyndell Institute is Awesome!!

I have been training at Lyndell Institute for a year now, and I will continue training there for as long as I can! Not only does Lyndell offer Tae Kwon Do classes, the school also offers fitness classes.

I enjoy going to the cardio kickboxing class, I always walk out thinking, "Man! That was a great workout!" I have taken fitness classes at other places but there are times where I felt like I was being judged or pushed too far during the workout, never have I felt that way at Lyndell!

Another thing I enjoy about the school is that everyone there is treated like family! All the students treat each other with respect and that is a really cool thing to experience!

If you want to feel great about yourself and become like family with some awesome people, then Lyndell Institute is the place for you!!

Excellent in every way

My 8 year old daughter has been a student at Lyndell for a year now and she absolutely loves it! The instructors (a mother/daughter team) are very encouraging and patient and they give each student the individual attention they need. With their guidance, my daughter's self confidence has sky rocketed and she is learning how to respect herself and others. They offer many different types of classes and have a really flexible schedule. I highly recommend Lyndell!

So you want to be a martial artist?

Lyndell Institute provides an ideal learning environment for Tae Kwon Do. The Instructors are very knowledgeable and dedicated. All of the students are very friendly and will help you to go as far as you want in learning this powerful martial art. There is no requirement to sign a long term lease, so you can continue as long as you like without being stuck with an expensive contract. I originally started to keep up with my son. Now I do it for myself, to keep in shape and to become more flexible. I started when I was 45 years old, so you are never too old to start. The training facilities are less than 1 year old and there is plenty of room to train. If you want to participate in other physical training, there are also classes in yoga and kick boxing. (I have not gone beyond Tae Kwon Do, so I cannot speak personally about those opportunities.) It doesn't cost much to begin (in fact, I believe that there is a free trial period for new students if you are undecided). I highly recommend giving it a try. I have not regretted it.
