- ArthritisYou may suspect this is happening to you if you have had several months where your cycle was different, had sore breasts, bleeding was late, early, heavier, or lighter. You may have experienced documented miscarriages, but have been assured there is nothing to worry about. Perhaps you or a family member has an autoimmune disease such as Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis or has a history of a blood clot in the leg or in the lung.
- Male InfertilityTo determine if you and your partner are dealing with an issue of male infertility, Fertility Partnership will run a Semen Analysis (SA) as a standard first step with all new patients. This simple diagnostic procedure will assess sperm quality and you typically will receive an answer within 48 hours if not sooner.
- GynecologyThe Fertility Partnership is dedicated to helping begin families by using the latest technology to offer top quality, compassionate fertility care at a significantly lower cost. Led by Medical Director and 20 year veteran of obstetrics, gynecology and fertility Dr. D. Elan Simckes, the Fertility Partnership offers a relaxing, peaceful oasis in the complex world of infertility. From the moment you enter our clinic’s doors, you’ll notice that our atmosphere caters not only to your physical needs, but your emotional and mental well-being as well. Our goal is for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, culture, sexuality or economic status to be welcomed, embraced and encouraged by the Fertility Partnership.
- Female Infertility. In fact, 6% of all men who have received fertility testing meet the criteria of “low sperm count”, otherwise known as oligospermia, and require the services of a fertility clinic for men. Nearly 1% of men will be found to have no sperm in their semen, known as azoospermia. As with female infertility, the causes of male infertility are numerous and varied but can be roughly divided into issues involving the production of sperm or issues associated with sperm transport. Sometimes the male fertility problem can be improved, and sometimes it can not be fixed. Often, we can get around your male factor infertility by using advanced reproductive technology.

- EndometriosisEndometriosis is extremely common-it affects 7% of all women and 25% or more of all women suffering from infertility. - EndocrinologyMy husband and I visited many so-called specialists in the field of reproductive endocrinology. We were told by all of them that the only way we could achieve pregnancy was through In Vitro Fertilization. We were never satisfied with their recommendations, because not one of these “specialists” could ever give us a definitive explanation for the cause of our infertility.
- UltrasoundExam: Women will have and ultrasound and men will have a sperm analysis (avoid ejaculation for 48 hours prior to appointment).
- RadiologyThe Dye Test-Hysterosalpingogram At a Reasonable Price The hysterosalpingogram-HSG, commonly called “the dye test” was once a key component of every patient’s fertility investigation. It is now being done less frequently. The main reason for its decreased usage is cost. At Fertility Partnership we have partnered with Berland Radiology of Creve Couer, Missouri to...

- Radiation TherapyIf you are reading this blog, then you or a loved one may have been recently diagnosed with a serious medical condition and are facing impending treatments that could cause infertility. - HysterectomyI was blessed with four children by the age of 24. Unfortunately, my fourth baby was also my fourth c-section, and due to complications, I had to have a partial hysterectomy. I had two boys and two girls, and therefore was mentally okay with the idea of being done having babies. It wasn’t until several years and a divorce later that I met my now husband who was six years my junior. He had never had any children and never been married, and wanted to be a dad more than anything on the planet. Beings that I had no uterus, we knew that surrogacy was our only option for him to have a biological child. I began looking into IVF doctors so I could plan financially how we would make this work. After speaking to local doctors in Texas, I felt defeated. The cost of IVF near me outrageous. I had more or less given up, and that was when a friend ran across a Facebook ad for Fertility Partnership offering affordable IVF that people like us could afford. I immediately called the office and was greeted on the phone by a sweet, helpful woman by the name of Sarah. I knew immediately that I had found the right office for us. We booked our appointment and came to meet Doctor Simckes only a short few weeks later. Within 5 minutes of meeting this man, I knew he was the right physician for us. He was smart, funny, and had the best bedside manner I could possibly as for. He was straight forward and to the point, yet gentle, discerning, and real. He didn’t sugar coat anything, didn’t make for false hope or promises, but I could feel that his heart was truly with his patients and that he would do anything and everything within his power to get our baby into our arms, and that’s exactly what he did. The road was long and hard, but boy was it worth it. Our little embryo that could, Naivy Rose, was born in April 2020 and could not be more perfect. We are forever grateful for Dr. Simckes and his amazing staff for who they are and what they do. We can’t wait to come back for round two!
