Founded in 1977, Thomas Allen is a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities. It serves over 500 clients, children aged above 4 and adults who are of retirement age. The organization offers supportive living services that include assistance with various daily living activities. Thomas Allen s semi-independent living services include support, monitoring, guidance and crisis intervention services to persons with a high level of independent skills. It offers case management services to people with traumatic brain injuries and other chronic mental illnesses. The organization also provides guardianship services that include assistance with informed decision making for vulnerable adults who are incapable of managing their own affairs. In addition, the organization offers in-home support services. Thomas Allen maintains a presence in West St. Paul, Minn.
