In south Eagan off of exit94 on 35E is a cute fitness studio tucked into a strip mall. Similar to a CorePower or another attractively-designed fitness space, Sparrow is doing a lot of things right. I tried a vinyasa yoga class here in the Nest studio (next door) the week of New Year's & enjoyed it. Desk attendant was quite friendly. Cubbies in the lobby for winter boots, & I put my purse along the studio wall. Heated studio, but not uncomfortably so. Mats get a little close togetherbut not as close as at CorePower. Average demographic of the class: mostly women in their 20s-early30s. If you're going there to try to make friends I don't know if it is the most social place for that, but it probably depends on what class you show up for. Id love to try the dance cardio class they have on Sun. aft. which used to be called Buti, but is now called Sparrow Soul. Sounds intense, so will train a few weeks before trying it.
