Ultrasonics is a revolutionary method of cleaning blinds through the use of sound waves. Ultrasonic cleaning is fast, efficient, and completely safe. No dangerous chemicals or moving parts are involved in the cleaning process. Ultrasonics cleans the main body of the blind, as well as the cords, ladders, strings, and wand. In addition, ultrasonics cleans and lubricates the head rail...leaving you with a new blind! How does Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning work? Within our ultrasonic cleaning tanks, transducers create sound waves which create microscopic bubbles that implode, creating agitation on the surface - removing dirt particles from the surface. As these bubbles are so minute, all elements are cleaned. Why use Ultrasonic Cleaning? In a continuing effort to maintain our homes, we often tend to overlook our blinds. At Northview Window Treatment Cleaning & Repair, LLC, we believe regular cleaning of your blinds prolongs the life of those items. It also contributes to the beauty of your home and office. What is the injection/extraction process? Technicians use a portable system that is commonly referred to as an injection/extraction system. This system allows the technician to safely wet-clean or dry-clean all types of fabric window treatments. The technician can bring the system into the house for on site cleaning or shades can be brought back to our shop for cleaning. This process is so gentle, that it allows for the cleaning of the most fragile and delicate fabrics, including sun-damaged linings. Since there is no agitation, as in a traditional dry-cleaning process, they have the ability to guarantee against shrinkage or damage. Whether they are wet-cleaning or dry-cleaning the chemicals used are safe and effective. In fact the dry-cleaning chemical is safe enough to use in nursing homes and hospitals, and will not affect sizing, dyes or a flame retardant. We service HunterDouglas, Kirsch, Bali, Graber, Levolor, Comfortex, Kathy Ireland, and other brand shades.
