Since retirement as Chief of Police from the Eagan Police Department he was elected mayor of the city of Eagan. Geagan is a graduate of Metropolitan State University, Inver Hills Community College and the FBI's National Academy. For the past eight years he was senior investigator employed by the Heartland Group. In the private sector he spent hundreds of hours working for the law firm of Covington and Burling and the State of Minnesota on the closed land fill program. In that role he located land fill sites and interviewed waste haulers from the early 1960's. As a police officer, Geagan has investigated or supervised the investigation of major felonies. His years of service give him the "Edge" needed for private investigations. Geagan & Associates has the utmost respect for the client's confidentiality and sensitivity.
