Business History

It takes a special breed of person to thrive and survive in the stress of running a small business, and build a longevity almost unequaled in the painting business. Larry Zack built the company that started out in 1985 as a small residential painting company into one of the most respected large-scale painting contractors in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. Following the North Dakota boom Fresh Paint took over a half-million dollar job when another painting company couldn’t complete the contract. Fresh Paint has always completed its contractual obligation in it's 30 years. And, a big part of the success is because the job is done to the customer’s satisfaction.
