I've been going to Excel (formerly Car-X) in Eagan for over 15 years for almost all my auto service and tires. When I realized Herb and his staff are honest and highly skilled, I knew there was no better place to take my cars. I can always trust that I am getting good advice and a fair price for work I have done at Excel.

When I first starting going to Excel, I told Herb, the manager, that if I felt he was fair, competitively priced, did a good job with the repairs and I could trust him not to screw me over, he'd have my business for a long time. Needless to say, I have been going to Excel for years, first with my 1995 Jeep Cherokee and now with my 2008 Toyota RAV4. In addition to that, after being absent from his shop for a couple of years (due to having to use Toyota under warranty), when I came back he remembered me by name! I just had my water pump replaced and rear brakes done, and Herb's estimate came in well below the two other shops' estimates. I feel Herb has a very strong and honest work ethic and truly values his customers.
