Friendly, knowledgable mechanics not out to take advantage of their customers. I couldn't be happier with the speed of the repair, the repair options & prices, and the comfort level I felt at Economy Muffler. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing exhaust repairs or more.

I have taken two cars to Economy Muffler and been very happy with the service. Had a Honda Civic that needed a mid-pipe replaced and they did it while I waited (about 20 minutes) for a fair price. Then had a total custom exhaust done for my hot rod and they installed the system in a few hours. It looks and sounds great. Couldn't be happier.

This shop offers one deal--a muffler that will last "three to five years." The cost for a muffler is $100. A lifetime muffler is $20 extra, but it's the same muffler that gets installed. That's it. Oh, the good part--just as I was getting used to the idea that I'd be getting a new muffler, I looked out into the shop and saw the old one already on the floor. Talk about fast service! The fact is, this shop still practices the old adage: "Just get it done." Great experience--definitely exceeded my expectations! Plus, they send me down to Bonded Transmission on University at Fairview. I went there and found a clean, well-organized shop. I spoke to a person behind the counter who answered all my questions with ease--I will definitely have them service my car. I was impressed with the non-corporate feel of both shops--just mechanics doing their work. (Full disclosure: I am a former service technician--Dunwoody, 1989.)

I had the guys at Economy Muffler fix a few things for me and every time it was great service. Rattling heat shielding, muffler replacement, leaking exhaust pipe. They have also done brakes and wheel bearings for me.

We took our car into the muffler shop to have a muffler installed under the car. The muffler itself has been custom built, and it fits perfectly in place. When I took the car and muffler to Economy Muffler, they told me that the muffler did not fit. In addition, they told me that the catalytic converter was leaking, which is 1. nowhere near the muffler and 2. also not true. After an estimate of yet another $400, I decided to find another shop to install it. When I came to pick up the car, the window was wide open, along with all the door locks. The area this shop is located in is known for theft and violence. It is UNACCEPTABLE to knowing lie to the customer and disrespect the property of a potential customer. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE. THEY CLEARLY ARE NOT WORKING TO HELP THE CUSTOMER!If I could have given them zero stars, I would have.

My father-in-law went to this establishment for 10 years. I have been using them for 8 years and have found them to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. Every time they have performed work it has been excellent and never needed to be returned for any reason.
