University of Minnesota is one of the leading providers of higher education in the United States. Operational for more than 50 years, the university offers specialized courses in food, agricultural and natural resource sciences. It provides a wide variety of courses and programs, such as commercial vegetable and fruit production, food science and nutrition, continuing professional and economic education, pesticide safety and environmental education, and food and nutrition. It also offers extension service workshops. The university also offers various agricultural courses, including alternative crops and specialized management technologies, farm financial management, climate and weather education, commodity crop production modules, farm assessment and groundwater applications, and manure management programs. Additionally, it offers air quality workshops and training classes. Located in St. Paul, Minn., it has more than 20 academic departments, and research and campus-based interdisciplinary centers, and enrolls more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
