Black Hawk Middle School, located in Eagan, Minn., serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, family and consumer science, and career and technology education. The school additionally offers programs in science, social studies, world languages, and health and physical education. Black Hawk Middle School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, tennis, cross country, football, hockey, wrestling, soccer, baseball, track and field and volleyball. It supports a student council and chess, history, juggling and sewing clubs. In addition, the school offers the English Language Learners program and gifted and talented education. Black Hawk Middle School is a part of Independent School District 196.
