Air Quality Associates, Inc. (AQA) is a consulting firm dedicated to providing comprehensive yet affordable consulting and training services for all your indoor air quality and industrial hygiene needs. Based in North St. Paul, Minnesota, AQA has the experience and expertise to accurately and effectively identify, control and prevent problems in work and residential environments. Our extensive field experience dealing with industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, and hazardous materials issues ensures that all work will be completed in a thorough and professional manner. JIM VISKOCIL, CIH Jim is certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. He has over eighteen years experience in the environmental and occupational hygiene field and formerly served as a United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Compliance Officer and an Environmental Specialist for the Wisconsin Division of Health. His professional emphasis is on indoor air quality, general industrial hygiene exposure monitoring, regulatory compliance, building commissioning and hazardous materials issues. Mr. Viskocil served as Program Manager for the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety a NIOSH Educational Resource Center from 1990 to 1995. While with the Center Mr. Viskocil coordinated the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences¿ (NIEHS) hazardous materials program and the US EPA Regional Lead Training Center. As Course Director at the Midwest Center, he also supervised and served as an instructor for the following courses: Industrial Hygiene Exposure Monitoring Mold Inspection & Remediation Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review Hazardous Waste Site Training Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Training Asbestos Training Courses Lead Inspector Training Indoor Air Quality Investigations Confined Space Entry Laboratory Safety Mr. Viskocil is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene, and a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate. In addition, Jim has served as past National Committee Chair for the Construction and Operations and Maintenance Committee of the National Asbestos Council and is a former member of the Minnesota State ECSU Health and Safety Committee. We had Jim come out to do some air testing for us to locate the source of problems for our employees. Jim investigation identified a few issues with our building and ventilation system. Once these items were corrected our complaints stopped. We had hired two companies previously and they gave us only very general recommendations and did not spot the things that Jim did.
