It operates Palmetto Economic Development Corporation, which is a marketing organization. The cooperative has implemented an automated meter reading by a power line carrier. The Tri-County Electric Cooperative works with a team of more than 50 staff members. It provides online bill payment options. The cooperative serves Zeus Industries and Southeast Frozen Foods. The Tri-County Electric Cooperative is a part of the South Carolina Power Team. In addition, the cooperative serves several industrial parks.
