Grand Lake Hospice defines hospice care as a philosophy of care that recognizes death as the final stage of life and seeks to enable patients to continue to live an alert, pain free life with dignity and surrounded by loved ones. A multi-disciplinary team work together to address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family. This specialized care provides symptom management, emotional support, spiritual support and psychosocial intervention. Grand Lake Hospice addresses issues most important to the patient’s needs and wants at the end of their life focusing on improving the patients quality of life.
