Founded in 1958, Wyland Elementary School is a part of the Ritenour School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. Wyland Elementary School enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, science, social studies, reading and writing. The school offers gifted and talented and physical education programs. Its staff includes a guidance counselor, nurse, librarian and full-time teachers. The school operates a parent-teacher association that supports several school events and activities.
