The Washington University Libraries, founded in 1907, operates a network of academic resources that feature more than 10 libraries. Its John M. Olin Library is spread over an area of more than 190,000 square feet and includes a dual-purpose cafe and extended-hours study space, reading rooms and lounges. The library offers a range of architectural photographs, databases and government documents. The Washington University Libraries houses a collection of nearly 3 million books, journals and other print materials in a variety of languages, such as German, Spanish, French, and Chinese. Its digital library services, established in 2006, offers support to scholars in the creation of digital projects. The library offers access to its books from other libraries via MOBIUS.
