Tillman Elementary School, founded in 1947, offers a wide range of educational, extracurricular and recreational programs to more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through five. It organizes a number of after school and summer programs for students. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. The facilities provided by the school include transportation, library and cafeteria. Its special education department offers counseling programs for students with physical and mental disabilities. In addition, the school provides occupational, physical and speech therapies, and behavior management and psychological counseling. Tillman Elementary School is located in Kirkwood, Mo., and is part of Kirkwood School District.
