Founded in 1884, Hodgen Elementary School offers a variety of educational services to students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its instructional program has various components, including extended learning opportunities and community involvement. The school s Helping One Student to Succeed Mentoring Pilot program uses students and community volunteers to improve the reading and language skills of kindergarten and third-grade students through daily tutoring. It provides opportunities for students to participate in an early bird learning program. The school s facility includes a computer laboratory, library and media center and a gallery for the display of student projects.
