I was contracted by this company to work their "traveling holiday party". We agreed on a time, price & very specific product. That morning it was snowing and my food truck doesn't drive well in the snow so we were exactly 9 minutes late. The CEO was not happy and very short/rude. We apologized and continued to serve the location. We then packed up and went onto the next location. We extended our time and worked 2 extra hours for them that day. After a very long dangerous day of driving in the snow, packing up and then unpacking we were sent home not paid. Before being sent home the CEO took all of our product off of the truck to take home. A week goes by and I have to contact them to receive payment. I was told that he wasGoing to dock our agreed price for the day $100. He said me being 10 minutes late was the reason and the 2 extra hours we gave him we weren't getting paid for either. We were bullied into making a new invoice or not get paid at all. We are a small business and appalled at this treatment. The time, money and work put into this whole day was unappreciated and completely not compensated for. $100 will neither make or break either business but it was the way this company mainly the boss handled this small matter. Everyone else working for him was apologetic. We have made it point to notify other food trucks so they are aware of this company and their style. I would not trust this company as the owner has a sense of entitlment and feels like he has the right to bully small businesses.
