      I had made a appointment with Aspen Dental June 8,2023, I was advised at my appointment they Aspen does not take HMO through United Health Care I was very discouraged, I was there for asked if I would like to still be seen as it would not cost me anything, I descended and said no that that won't help me much as without my medical insurance I would and could not afford the care. So I declined I left not understanding, wondering if they had actually called United Health to confirm my insurance, so later that day I called United Health Care they informed me that yes my medical part of my insurance is HMO issued by the state but not my dental insurance is PPO. I was also informed by the agent from United Health Care that there was no phone calls received from Aspen Dental confirming my insurance . This was and is very aggravating as I have a bad tooth that is hurting extremely bad. Maybe they need to hire someone who knows how to call and make claims through patients insurance not just by looking at their insurance cards.
