Amanda Partee is a certified nurse practitioner who specializes in evaluation and treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, and sexually transmitted infections. She offers HIV rapid start and testing, HIV prevention services, PEP and PrEP. In her clinic, Partee emphasizes therapeutic communication, shared decision making, and collaborative practice. She is interested in research regarding HIV-related measures that aim to improve quality of life by helping retain patients in care. Partee works in the SLUCare Infectious Diseases outpatient clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine, Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Partee worked for 17 years as a clinical nurse in the outpatient SLUCare Infectious Diseases clinic.
