Lakeland Center for Outpatient is operated by the Lakeland Health Care, and is located in St. Joseph, Mich. It is a nonprofit, community-owned system of care that provides clinical and supportive services throughout southwest Michigan that includes Berrien, Cass and VanBuren counties. It offers diagnostic services, such as CT scans, magnetic resonance imaging and digital mammography. It provides diabetes self-management education classes that include management options and meal planning techniques to improve blood sugar control and reduce the risk of complications associated with diabetes. Its special services include cancer care, cardiovascular care, enterostomal therapy program, infusion therapy, maternal and child health, orthopedic and pediatric programs. Its rehabilitation services include physical, speech and occupational therapies, stroke and brain injury treatments and children s rehabilitation services.
