Over the years I have left my Lab Ben and then my Schnauzer Cole. They received first class care every time. Both have since passed away and now
I board my Schnauzer Obie there. The great care continues and, like my
other two Ben and Cole, Obie is enthusiastic to arrive there. He is well taken
care of and when I pick him up, he is very clean and does not have a kennel
smell. I recently had Obie groomed there for the first time. It was the best
cut ever and I won't take him back to the previous groomer. I am very thankful
for this kennel.

While they may not be a fancy kennel with all the bells and whistles like some of the newer places, they are very caring and reasonably priced. I do not need all the frills that come with the prices of some of the higher end facilities afterall I am going on vacation I don't need to sit on a computer and watch my dog sleep. while some of their policies have changed over the years and make things a little more difficult for dropping my dog off, I completely understand why the made the changes and feel that they are in the best interest of my pet. Being a long time customer i don't like that I have to pay my full boarding fee up front, but also know that some people are not honorable and will skip the bill if able too, plus hotels require a deposit and a credit card on file for "incidentals" why should a dog kennel (hotel) be any different. I always bring my dogs bed to comfort him, come on no one likes being left behind. He always pees on it even though we add on the outdoor doggie recess time. I think he is just being spiteful. I will continue to use their service as the owner has over 40 years of experience with animals.

Do NOT Go! My dogs were treated like garbage. The blankets we brought for them when picked up were completely soaked with dog pee ( My dogs are well trained to go outside) When we finally got outside to leave they peed in the kennel grass for what felt like forever. I felt like they took my money and didn’t take care of my dogs. Also we came to get our dogs at 230pm, the women said she had just fed them????? Would I like the food in the bowl she just poured back since it was ours from home?????

When I called to ask about what happened the owner went on and on about prices and nothing else.

They didn't feed or water my dog enough food per instructions and he got FLEAS while he was there! Came home drank a full bowl of water (more than he ever does) and woofed his food down, poor dog!
Owners are two old dried up prunes with zero business sense and even less compassion or customer service. Boarded my dog for one day, paid the $32 minimum two day charge plus $5 for playtime. Charged me $20 to pick him up :15 after "closing time" while she was inside cleaning. while It was only ten steps to get my dog she insisted on calling her husband out from the house to point his finger and cuss me talking about their "banker hours" and how I couldn't walk into a bank after closing time to do business. Incredible! I cannot possibly describe how horrible these people are. I hope they die a slow and painful death.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!! I think I will report them for abuse as well.

We love Doggone Kennels! We have been using Doggone Kennels for 5 years now for both boarding and grooming and we really love it! The Kennels are clean and take care of our dogs very well. Their prices are outstanding for grooming and boarding and you get very good value for your money. It's not a fancy place but the owners take pride in what they do you can tell.

I have been bringing my dog, Duke, to Doggone for several years now. Every time we go on a vacation we take him to Doggone. He is always fed and watered and well kept while he is there. The staff is very friendly and I feel very comfortable leaving Duke here. I would not take him anywhere else. I also think it is very convenient because I can get Duke groomed during his stay which we really like. I have never had any issues with Duke receiving fleas or any other type of bug or illness while he stayed there. Sounds like the person below might be upset that they had to pay a fee for not obeying the hours of the business because nothing they said sounded anywhere close to the type of visit Duke has had at Doggone. I would recommend Doggone to anyone.

We have been going to Doggone for 5 years. Geri does a great job on Sadie. Very satisfied with Geri and her staff.

Geri and her staff do a good job of grooming my dog, who wasn't happy at a groomer much closer to my home. I have taken dogs to her for over 10 years and they always look wonderful when I pick them up. The staff confirms my wishes at every visit, so if I decide to change the length of fur it's noted and that's what she does.

We have been taking Tucker to Doggone for the last ten years. He is now a fussy, old dog and does not handle change well. The folks at Doggone always take great care of Tucker and he is in great shape when we come to pick him up. We have found the care to be very detailed and professional and have never had any problems. For this old dog who doesn't like going much of anywhere at this point, he gladly goes back to Doggone when we are away.

We boarded our dog for 2 weeks there last summer. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I picked up my dog and he kept on crying. Got home, and found he had a horrible heat rash on his belly. I had to take him to the vet for meds. I called the place and told them what happened. They were not concerned at all. What really stinks is that we bought this dog from them 12 years ago, a Basset, so they should know how to take care of Bassets! AND the fact that they took my money up front. We had boarded with them several times over the years, but this was the worst experience. NOT going back!!!
