      General Info
      Dr. Saifee is the core founder of the practice here at APSDIM. He is Board Certified in Pulmonary, Sleep Disorders and Critical Care Medicine. He trained in an accredited fellowship in Connecticut at the Norwalk Hospital and Yale University Medical Center. Dr. Saifee completed his fellowship in 2002 and started his clinical practice in Southern Utah, initially, as an employed physician. Since opening our doors to the community in 2007, he has been assisted and supported in the outpatient Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders practice by our two wonderful Nurse Practitioners, Victoria Larsen and Heather Bandle. In addition, Dr. Saifee provides inpatient Critical Care and Pulmonary services at the Dixie Regional Medical Center. For outpatient services we have three locations, at which, our team avails appointments every Tuesday in Cedar City and Wednesday in Mesquite. The St George Office offers an array of Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders testing, which includes; Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and diagnostic sleep testing (PSG & CPAP Titration studies etc). Dr. Saifee’s general philosophy in the current health care system is to provide optimum care, founded on good ‘evidence based medicine,’ in a timely manner at convenient locations. One of the largest challenges is to continue to keep our patients well educated and informed about their health and options within given constraints. Dr. Saifee’s extensive clinical experience combined with the use of a state-of-art EHR gives him the confidence to do so in a secure, personal, private and portable manor. He believes your experience at APSDIM should be comfortable, safe, convenient, medically complete and meeting current standards of care. Our carefully selected staff is well trained and strives hard to meet the above stated goal.
