He's one guy, running a small, hard to find brick-and-mortar shop, trying to supply the areas RC needs and compete with the Internet. It's a place to go for the personal touch. If he doesn't have it he'll order it. He's a little gruff but he has a big heart. I can't speak to whether he's RC knowledgeable (I went in there for some Model Train parts, of which he has a very limited inventory), but RC is his focus and the walls of his small shop are fully obscured by his inventory. He was friendly and eager to help. He told me about the Color Country Model Railroad Club and their weekly lunch get-together at the Black Bear Diner in St. George, Utah (Fridays at 11:30AM), so for me he was a wealth of information.

BTW: his shop IS hard to find. It's in a small, sort of "house" looking structure with minimal signage. It's on the East side of Bluff St. in the nondescript, baige A-frame, single story structure, between Dixie Pest Control and Colorland Power Equipment. The front entrance is to a shoe repair shop. Gorilla Hobbies is around the side. Look for the "Gorilla Hobbies" sign on the side of the "house".

BTW2: yes, he's often away -- apparently for errands he runs during lunch -- once again, he's one guy trying to keep a brick-and-mortal shop open. Probably best to either show up early (he opens at 10AM), or get there between 3PM and 5PM. He always puts a note on the door with an estimate of when he'll be back. This occurred the fist time I went there. I showed up around 12:30 and his sign said he'd be back at 1:30. In Aikido there's a saying: "Blend and Harmonize". One finds a great deal of peace when unattached to outcomes. I harmonized my situation by doing some shopping I was planning to do after my Gorilla visit. I returned around 1:45 and his shop was open. Voila!

great stuff!the most popular carrier warbird of world war 2 is the corsair.the wing design looks so different from most airplane.the designer of the corsair had to bend the wings because the propeller was so big.the thing about building the corsair is that the plane with its wing design looks so different from most airplanes!

Closed most of the time. it's not 10 to 5. good luck finding this shop open. overpriced and does not have the knowledge on newer equipment and does not care to learn . The guy will not even get out of his chair to help you out. Over all nice guy but with the web at peoples fingertips to order RC equipment I have no idea how this guy is still open.
