- Medical Weight LossLiposuction body sculpting (or suction-assisted lipectomy) has become one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures performed today. Minimal scarring and outstanding results have made it the preferred method for removing fat from the hips, thighs, buttocks and abdomen, as well as areas of the face, neck and arms. Liposuction is not an alternative to weight reduction, but can be very effective in removing fat from areas that do not respond to diet and exercise programs.

- Ear SurgeryThis procedure can be performed under local anesthesia in the office or at surgical center. The incisions are made in the crease on the back of the ear to expose ear cartilage. Sutures are then placed in the cartilage to pull back and reshape the ear. After ear surgery the patient should expect to have a bulky bandage on their head for a few days. After this bandage is removed a wrap that resembles a head band will be worn, especially at night to protect the fragile post-operative condition of the ears. Activities that could bend the ears should be avoided for at least a month after surgery.

- BotoxCosmetic injectables are temporary ways of reducing the appearance of wrinkles on the face. Botox, Dysport Restylane are offered at Chase Plastic Surgery. Botox or Dysport are used to reduce wrinkles of the forehead and around the eyes. Smile lines around the nose and mouth can be reduced by dermal fillers such as Restylane or Hyaluronic Acid. There is little to no downtime after these injections.
- Brow LiftDeep furrows on the forehead, frown lines over the eyes, drooping eyebrows and hood-like skin over the eyes are all conditions that can make you look older than you are or feel. Whether age or heredity causes these conditions, a forehead lift (or brow lift) can give you a more youthful, animated and alert appearance.
- Eyelid SurgeryTwo small incisions are made on either side near the temple area, just above the hairline. This incision allows the tissue and muscle beneath the skin to be repositioned, altered or removed which corrects the source of visible creases in the forehead and improves a low positioned or sagging brow. The incision is closed using sutures and staples. Brow lifts may be performed alone, or along with other procedures such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.
- LiposuctionSuction-assisted lipectomy is performed by Dr. Chase in an outpatient surgery center. A narrow tube (cannula) is inserted into a small incision made in an inconspicuous place to loosen excess fat using a controlled back and forth motion. The dislodged fat is then suctioned out of the body using a surgical vacuum. Liposuction can eliminate the excess inches; it is effective and efficient. You will be asked to wear a compression garment while you recover to assist the body in reshaping. Most people are able to do normal activities within a week or two and can resume full aerobic activities by 4 to 6 weeks after liposuction.

- Face LiftEnvironmental factors, stress, and genetics can leave one with an aged appearance. Wrinkled skin can develop on the face, neck or forehead, along with fat deposits and folds around the jaws and jowls. While a facelift can’t stop the aging process, in many cases it can improve the visible signs of aging and give you a rejuvenated appearance.

- OtoplastyEars that appear to stick out or are overly large can be helped by ear surgery. Ear surgery, or Otoplasty, is usually done to set prominent ears back closer to head or to reduce the size of large ears. This operation can be performed on children and adults who feel ridiculed or self-conscious about the appearance of their ears.

- DermabrasionDermabrasion helps “refinish” the top layers of skin through controlled surgical scraping. Treatments of dermabrasion soften the sharp edges of irregularities in the surface of the skin, which gives the skin a smoother appearance. Dermabrasion is most often used to smooth out facial wrinkles (i.e. those around the mouth), to improve the appearance of facial skin which may have been scarred by accidents, deep acne or previous surgery. It can also be used to remove pre-cancerous growths called keratoses.
