Dr. Scholzen has received an additional two years of training in pediatrics so he better understands your children. We know what it is like to bring your children to the dentist because we are parents, too. We will do whatever is possible to make the experience enjoyable for you. We deeply believe in empowering children by fostering good reading habits. Every child may choose a new book and a balloon to take home with them each time they visit us.

      We think that going to the dentist should be as stress-free as possible for both parents and children. TV screens are positioned above our treatment tables. Headphones and a movie can be a helpful distraction for your child. There are chairs placed close to each treatment table so parents can be right there to alleviate anxiety experienced by both children and parents. Your other children can occupy themselves in our play town next to our receptionist, on our Pacman game in the exam room, or watch our big screen TV in the waiting area. In order to make sure your child has the best experience possible, we have quiet treatment rooms for those children whose anxiety is expressed in tears or more.
