- Dental Care
- VaccinationWellness care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet healthy and maximizing their quality of life. Our health care team will advise you on vaccinations and parasite prevention tailored to your pet’s lifestyle and age. We also offer nutrition and dental counseling to optimize the health of your pet.
- Nutritional CounselingIf your pet requires hospitalization, we can provide your pet with many types of advanced services they may need. These services include continuous rate infusion for IV fluids and medications, oxygen therapy, blood transfusions, appropriate pain management, and nutritional support, including feeding tube placement.
- Comprehensive ExaminationThe doctor will perform a physical examination the day of surgery. She will develop an anesthesia plan and pain management strategy tailored to your pet.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlPets and Parasites - A resource maintained by The Companion Animal Parasite Council. Parasite control is very important because some parasites can also infect people. -
- Pain ManagementWe keep them warm during their recovery and adjust their pain management as needed to keep them comfortable. A surgical assistant monitors them until they are stable.
- Vomiting Treatment
- Diarrhea Treatment
- Parvovirus Infection TreatmentOur puppy wellness program is designed to offer your new puppy all the benefits of veterinary services available to him or her from 6 to 16 weeks of age. Included in this service is a series of examinations and vaccinations including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, etc. In addition, your puppy will be tested for worms and be treated for the most common intestinal worm of puppies – roundworms. Roundworms can cause gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting and / or diarrhea. There are other parasites that can cause similar symptoms and can even cause your puppy to become anemic (low red blood cells). Performing a fecal test will allow us to treat your puppy accordingly. We recommend that you please bring in a stool sample from your puppy when you come in for a visit. Although some worms are visible to the naked eye, most worm burdens are diagnosed by examining the stool of your puppy microscopically.
- Heart Disease TreatmentAdvanced anesthesia monitors are used to check your pet’s body temperature, ECG, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and carbon dioxide levels. A veterinary technician stays by your pet’s side to keep track of these readings and adjust their anesthesia as needed.
