The Saint Charles Police Department provides law enforcement services. Its communications services division maintains a link between the general public, department personnel and other agencies. The division s personnel are responsible for taking calls from the public, obtaining all of the necessary information from the caller, dispatching officers to calls for service and relaying to them the information. The support services division is responsible for supporting all police department operations. The division provides budget management, fiscal control, contract administration, purchasing and inventory control services. It is also responsible for fleet and facility management and information technology services. The Saint Charles Police Department is located in St. Charles, Mo.
