Harris Elementary School, built in 1994, educates students in kindergarten through grade four. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, physical education, math, social studies and science. The school provides instruction in art, music and library skills. It offers accelerated reading and special education programs. The school s English for Speakers of Other Languages program serves children with limited English proficiency. Harris Elementary School provides a range of supplies, including pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, erasers, notebooks and tissue boxes. It offers a safety patrol program for fifth grade students and conducts classes in playing string instruments. Based in St. Charles, Mo., Harris Elementary School is a part of City of St. Charles School District R6.
