Davis Elementary School enrolls more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade four. Its academic curriculum includes programs in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally conducts art, music and physical education classes. Davis Elementary School offers the English as a Second Language program. It supports band and orchestra clubs. The school s staff is comprised of occupational therapists, psychologists, speech pathologists and a reading coordinator. Davis Elementary School offers a Learning Resource Center program, which offers instruction in library skills and research techniques and provides students with book talks on classic and new literature. In addition, the program includes multimedia presentation programs and instruction in keyboarding skills and word processing.
