I have always been impressed by Dr. Hoogerwerf's patient care. She is present, warm, personable, professional. She also has a caring sense of humor which I find delightful. The care I have received from her and her staff is EXCELLENT. I recently moved to Gainesville (an hour away from St Augustine) and chose to drive BACK to St Augustine just so she could do my procedure because I have so much trust in her capability and thoroughness as a surgeon, rather than find a local doctor.
