Founded in 1999, Great Expectations Academy offers academic classes to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It operates a library and computer laboratory, as well as a multipurpose building for music and art classes. The academy is comprised of more than 20 teachers and staff members. Great Expectations Academy s core curriculum includes math, science, social studies, English, and health and physical education. It operates a parent association that volunteers in the classrooms, office, playgrounds and field trips and organizes various fundraising events and activities. The academy is located in Sahuarita, Ariz.
