Local American Legion. When I tried to become a member here with an honorable discharge from the Military, I was assured that the Garfield American Legion was being sold. How disappointed I was to learn that they are up & running, having a New Year's Eve party, etc. I believe in being a part of your community but I was turned away when I called for membership & I have no idea why.
