Pioneer Elementary School is a part of the Rio Linda Union School District. The school offers instructions in various subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, English, health education, vocal and instrumental music, arts and crafts, and physical education. The school has a fully equipped library and media center that has a large collection of picture books, encyclopedias, storybooks, magazines, textbooks and other informational resources. It provides a variety of nutritional food items for breakfast and lunch in its cafeteria. Located in Sacramento, Calif., Pioneer Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 550 students, and offers classes from grades kindergarten through six.
