General Info: The Division of Community Affairs is a part of the Department of Housing and Community Development, which is administered by the government the State of California. The division s single family program is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. It administers the HOME Investment Partnership Program. The Department of Housing and Community Development offers affordable housing opportunities. It also administers Occupational Licensing, Manufactured Housing, and Registration and Tilling programs. The department operates the Office of the Mobilehome Ombudsman, which receives and processes complaints from the public and officials, as well as provides information, coordination and referral solutions. Its Factory-Built Housing program features the construction of facilities in a manner where parts and processes cannot be inspected before installation.
