- Dental ExaminationWe recommend that our patients visit us every six months for a thorough exam and cleaning. During your appointment, our team will take a close look at your teeth and gums to evaluate their condition and determine if you need any treatments. We may also take x-rays to look at the bone structure of your teeth and jaw. Finally, we give your teeth a cleaning—removing plaque and tartar build-up, and leaving you with a smile that shines bright.

- Teeth CleaningHaving a competent general dentist is extremely important to your overall general dental health. The American Dental Association recommends that you have your regular checkups and professional teeth cleanings at least twice a year. This is very important to keep your mouth healthy and your overall health in check. Occasionally, even with regular dental visits problems can occur. When this happens, it is in your best interest to request a specialist. At Prosthodontic Dental Group, we have several specialists available to assist with a wide range of dental problems.
- Fillings
- VeneersPorcelain veneers are a versatile way to change up the look of your smile. From chips and cracks to gaps and stains, we can use porcelain veneers to conceal your concerns and give you the smile of your dreams.
- CrownsDental crowns are restorative prosthetics designed to cover teeth that are cracked, chipped, discolored, or structurally weakened by extensive dental work. Also known as caps, we use natural-looking dental crowns to keep your smile looking and functioning like normal.
- BridgesIf you’re missing one or more teeth in a row, a dental bridge is a great option to restore your smile. A bridge is a dental prosthesis that uses dental crowns and false teeth, or pontics, to fill in the gap created by the lost teeth. The bridge extends across the empty space by securely anchoring to the neighboring teeth on either side of the gap.
- Dental BondingDental bonding is a simple, non-invasive procedure we utilize to restore the appearance of a tooth or address cosmetic concerns. Chips, cracks, gaps, and discoloration are all quite common dental issues, and with the help of bonding, patients can have their smile restored in one appointment.
- Restorative DentistryWe provide a full range of dental services to prevent dental problems and restore the health, function, and appearance of your teeth.
- Root Canal TreatmentIf your teeth are especially sensitive, consult with your dentist. This could be a sign of the need for root canal treatment, a gum tissue graft, a desensitizing toothpaste (with potassium nitrate), or a concentrated fluoride gel (0.4% stannous- or 1.1% sodium-fluoride) may do the trick.
- Deep CleaningWhen gum disease is caught in its early stages, we may recommend a procedure known as scaling and root planing. This deep cleaning of your teeth both above and below the gum line ensures that all build-up is removed and bacteria are eliminated, leaving you with a clean slate.
- DenturesA partial denture is an appliance that fits the dental arch (upper or lower) and has false teeth where you have gaps in your smile. The appliance derives support from a metallic framework and clasps that attach to neighboring teeth.
- Dental ImplantsA periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are also experts in the treatment of oral inflammation. Periodontists receive extensive training in these areas, including three additional years of education beyond dental school. They are familiar with the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease and are also trained in performing cosmetic periodontal procedures. For your convenience, at Prosthodontic Dental Group, we have a periodontist in our office.
- Oral Surgery
- Flap SurgeryIn the later stages of gum disease, known as periodontitis and advanced periodontitis, the ligaments and tissues around your teeth begin to break down, creating large periodontal pockets and causing your teeth to become loose. With gum flap surgery, we can carefully remove inflamed tissue, treat any infection that may be present, and then close up the enlarged pockets.
- Tooth ExtractionsTooth extraction may also be necessary if you have any teeth that are severely decayed or damaged. These teeth will need to be removed before the implants can be placed.
- Bone GraftingBone grafting is a surgical procedure in which synthetic bone material is added to the jawbone to provide support for the implants. This is often necessary when the jawbone has been weakened by periodontal disease or tooth loss.
- Braces
- Teeth WhiteningMany of us aren’t happy with the color of our teeth. Stains happen easily and can come from something as simple as everyday foods you eat or medicines you take. Thankfully, you don’t have to deal with discolored teeth. We offer in-office teeth whitening and take-home kits that can help your smile shine bright again.
