Hello I had a 5hp 1800 rpm oem motor, i called the company to buy a replacement and to my surprise this motor is $2467.98 at that price I'm going to find a repair shop. I sent the motor to a repair shop in vt and they told me that this motor cant be repaired. Before I gave up I called rods electric and asked them if they can help me and like music to my ears rods said everything can be repaired. A week later I dropped the motor off to rods electric for a evaluation and found out that this motor is in very bad shape but can easily be repaired. A class H rewind with inverter duty wire, hard chrome bearing fits, restacked core, machined and sleeved endbells, replaced bearings, cleaned and sandblasted all parts. Its been 7 years and still running great. thank you rods electric
