Ruskin Christian School, also known as RCS, is a ministry of First Baptist Church. It is a spiritual institution that imparts biblical values in a Christ-centered environment. Located in Ruskin, Fla., the institution provides academic studies, spiritual growth and social development opportunities to students. Founded in 1971, Ruskin Christian School enrolls children in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers daily studies in the Bible, as well as conducts classes related to life and earth sciences. The institution conducts classes in foreign languages, biology, chemistry and anatomy. Ruskin Christian School also provides opportunities for learning computer applications and the piano. It offers a variety of sports activities, including soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball and cheerleading. In addition, the institution organizes field trips and has a library, gymnasium, cafeteria, and computer and science laboratories.
