Founded in 1974, Rushville Elementary School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, math and science. It offers instruction in art, music, band, and technology and physical education. Rushville Elementary School also provides the Title I program. The school s campus includes a computer laboratory, library and cafeteria. It offers special education programs for children with learning disabilities. The school administers the English as a Second Language program. It provides health care and transportation services. The school operates a parent-teacher group that participates in school-sponsored events. In addition, it operates a Boys and Girls Club of Rushville. The school provides accelerated reader, gifted and talented, and before- and after-school programs. Rushville Elementary School offers opportunities to participate in basketball.
