Russell Elementary School enrolls more than 140 students in grades one through eight. The school employs a counselor, resource officer, media specialist, librarian, literacy coach and technology coordinator. Its staff also includes several cafeteria workers and custodians. Russell Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization that raises funds for several projects, conducts monthly meetings and plans family activities. The school also operates a student council. It offers classes in math, physical education, science, social studies and reading. In addition, it provides lessons in art, band and music. The school has a library that provides access to online encyclopedias, periodicals, magazines, newspapers, databases and other reference materials. Russell Elementary School is located in Rumney, N.H.
